Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the GameOn mobile app ("GameOn", "we", "us") collects from you, how we use it, and the choices you have. GameOn is operated by GAME ON ENTERTAINMENT LLP ("the Company"). By using the GameOn app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what's needed to run your wallet, recharge, bookings, and account — nothing more.

2. How we use your information

To operate your account — login, wallet, recharge, bookings, and ticket redemption
To send you transactional notifications (recharge success/failure, booking confirmations) and occasional announcements from your branch
To detect, diagnose, and fix technical problems in the app
To provide customer support when you reach out to us
To comply with legal or regulatory obligations where applicable

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

3. Who we share information with

We share the minimum data necessary with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the app:

Payment gateway provider — to process recharge payments. We receive only the payment status back, not your card/bank details.
Push notification service (Expo / Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) — to deliver notifications to your device.
Crash reporting service (Sentry) — to receive automatic reports when the app encounters an error, so we can fix it.
Branch staff — authorized staff at GameOn branches can look up your wallet balance and profile to process in-person recharges and redemptions.

We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with accounting, tax, and legal record-keeping requirements. You can request deletion of your account as described in Section 6.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections between the app and our servers, and secure on-device storage for your login session. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using commercially reasonable safeguards.

6. Your choices and rights

Access & correction — you can view your profile information in the app, or contact us to correct it.
Notifications — you can disable push notifications for GameOn from your device's system settings at any time.
Account deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the email below. We will process your request in line with applicable law, subject to any records we're legally required to retain.

7. Children's privacy

GameOn is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app.
